I study how to find meaningful patterns when data is uncertain, incomplete, or easy to misread.
I'm a researcher at the Faculty of Information Technology, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. My work connects exact pattern-mining algorithms with machine learning that can hold up in real educational settings.
I graduated first in my Computer Science cohort in April 2026. A semester in Germany, years of teaching English, and independent travel have been part of that education, too.

01Mining uncertain data

Which patterns are frequent when transactions themselves are uncertain? TUFCI uses a best-first search to find the top-k closed frequent itemsets.
02Profit, loss & exact search
+
For uncertain data with positive and negative utilities, a standard pruning bound can fail. My thesis derived two correct bounds, an exact algorithm (PTK-HUIM), and a heuristic (UTKU-PSO).
03Learning without leakage

A model cannot help a school intervene if it needs information that has not arrived yet. Working with an anonymised 675-student Mathematics cohort, I designed IC-FS to select only features available at prediction time.

Teaching English at MAC English centre since 2023, from primary to upper-secondary learners. The classes continued online during my exchange in Germany.
